About

Nutrition Ninja is an emerging business based in Surrey, Canada. The company specialises in delivering nutritious, fresh Indian meal through its tiffin service. It has built a loyal customer base, including students, working professionals and families. Due to the growing demands of their customers, Nutrition Ninja recognised that they needed a more effective online digital tool to support their continued growth.

Objective

The objective was to develop a very efficient and easily scalable platform using Website Development Services. In addition to assisting customers with making purchases online, the platform should assist customers in having a seamless, CRO-optimised experience during all stages of purchasing. The Platform had to be capable of managing orders from beginning to end with minimal manual input. One major aspect of creating the platform was to keep the process as simple as possible, minimise manual tasks, and offer capabilities for managing subscription services. These will enable Nutrition Ninja to continue to grow for many years.

Challenges

Demand at Nutrition Ninja has been increasing, but the manual ordering process has become inefficient, leading to poor customer experiences and reduced internal productivity. Orders were tracked across multiple spreadsheets, causing delays in communication, inconsistent data entry, and unnecessary operational complexity. The lack of a centralised system further contributed to these operational challenges.

Key solutions

We implemented a new system for Nutrition Ninja that uses headless architecture. It also gives recommendations and runs with automated workflows. This helped to change the way the company works and make things better for their customers.

Automated Order Management has replaced manual tracking of orders. Customers are now able to complete, modify, suspend or subscribe to orders independently of administrative assistance. This has significantly decreased the amount of work required for employees as well as lessened potential for errors.

We created a fast interactive interface which uses modern design trends to achieve optimal performance. Users can personalise their meal selection, submit modifications requests and manage their subscription plans with ease.

By utilising Next.js headless architecture we were able to increase the scalability of the platform while increasing rendering speeds and streamlining integration with backend systems. This will enable us to continue adding additional services in the future without losing performance.

We included intelligent functionality within the application to ensure optimal order flows and delivery route optimisation. The driver routing function enables the most efficient mapping of delivery routes, reducing delivery time, travel distance, labour hours, etc.
